Essex Tridents Announce New Head Coach

The Essex Tridents are pleased to announce Nik Phillips as the new Head Coach of the program.

Nik joined the Tridents in their first season as Assistant Head Coach where the Tridents saw themselves reach the semi-finals of the Division 2 playoffs. Looking to return to winning ways, Coach Nik has already begun to execute an extensive pre-season plan for the Tridents along with his new-look coaching staff, the likes of whom will be publicly announced at a later date.

This does mean we are saying goodbye to former Offensive Coordinator and Head Coach, Kyle Clark. Kyle was brought on as the Offensive Coordinator, but quickly assumed an additional role as Head Coach. While the season wasn't easy, Kyle stuck with us until the end, ensuring the Tridents had a leader who exemplified our values of commitment, resilience and dedication. Coach Kyle's tenure as the Tridents OC and HC culminated in a dominating win against the Berkshire Renegades, to remain in Division 1. We thank Kyle for his time with us, and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
